Inverness

2007 started on a real high when we provided a stunning firework display in Inverness as part of the launch event for the Year of the Highlands. Firing from over 200 metres of frontage along the river and from the landmark castle we utilised the topography of the site to create an exciting and dynamic display. The highlight of the show was the magical sight of 1000 red flares & 1000 silver fountains floating down the river, enhanced with lifts and chases of colour mines along the whole river bank and candles fired from the front of the castle & from its turrets!

"Just a note to say thanks again and congratulations on the best fireworks most of the audience last Friday had even seen. I think you and your team produced something extraordinary and we've all helped to change the face of Inverness and the Highlands. Pyro1: Number1."

Hogmanay

Yet again our teams were in action in Edinburgh and Stirling. Despite the unprecedented foul weather and the cancellation of the street entertainment and concerts in both cities, Pyro 1 were able to perform. We fired our full show in Stirling at midnight, and also marked the midnight moment with a salute from Edinburgh castle and a full firework display from 6 hills around the centre. This enabled revellers to welcome 2007 in its now customary fashion.
