Martin Allen, our Operations Director, who joined Pyro1 back in 1998, is responsible for day to day management of all aspects of the business. He is assisted in the planning and preparation of all displays by Neil Burnham (Senior Display Manager) who has been with us for nearly 4 years. Either Martin or Neil will be involved with your event from start to finish, from initial discussions on the phone, to site visits, preparing the Health & Safety documentation and, very often, to delivering the display on the day of your event.
We have a team of 20 freelance pyrotechnicians, based throughout the south east and another
team of 10 in Scotland. All these crew members are qualified to BPA Level 1 and undergo an annual refresher course which we organise in-house. A number of our freelancers also hold BPA Level 2 qualifications and are responsible for managing the smaller displays.
