Edinburgh's Hogmanay
Pyro1 have provided the Edinburgh Hogmanay since 1996. Working in close conjunction with the promoters and the City Council we have built this display into the most recognised firework display in the UK.
The display is fired from eight sites, three of which are in the city centre and the remaining five on hilltop sites around Edinburgh. All eight sites launch simultaneously on the stroke of midnight into three minutes of intense and spectacular fireworks to welcome in the New Year in grand style.
We employ a crew of 26 people for up to 6 days to set up the show. Over 8 tonnes of fireworks are used and over 10,000 individual fireworks make up the show.
