London - The Thames

The River Thames offers a truly great location for fireworks in London. Pyro1 have been delighted to work on a number of different projects on and around the River.

When one of our clients decided to host a party for their distinguished guests on the glass-sided walkway high up on Tower Bridge we were thrilled to be called in to provide a firework display as impressive as the venue.

In central London the only place to fire a show of this magnitude is on the River. Having obtained the relevant permissions from the Port of London and the City of London, the river was closed for the duration of the display. Fired from a barge moored midstream around 200 metres from the Bridge, the seven minute show was choreographed to music and involved over 860 different fireworks. The results, enhanced by the reflections in the water, were truly spectacular.
